OficialENLong ago, when the world was still very different from what it is today, two primordial gods created it: Luna and Razeor. More than two thousand years later, although there are twenty-one gods in the pantheon of Leruth, few cultures still remember the names of their own creators. This story is about the consequences of misguided choices that gave rise to a cycle of war, hatred, bloodshed, and the forced reincarnation of fourteen of those twenty-one gods. It is about dragons reduced to legends, creatures no ordinary person has ever seen. It is about children found in a dungeon and raised in a quiet little country town, living their lives as though none of it were happening. Based on a tabletop RPG campaign played in 2020, Leruth is populated by characters whose speech is vulgar, ordinary, and as mundane as anything you might hear during a Wednesday-night RPG session among friends who simply want to spend some quality time together. It is also the best story I have ever written.
